I live outside the USA and am trying to checkout using a credit card. Why won't the website process my order?
This problem occurs as a result of the "AVS" or "Address Verification System" to prevent credit card fraud. The "AVS" only applies to USA credit card holders. In order to checkout, under billing address, billing zip code, enter "00000" (all 5 zeros) or any valid USA zip code. BUT, make sure you enter a correct shipping address with a correct postal code. I just placed an order. When will it ship?
Orders usually ship between 24 to 72 hours after payment is received. If there is any delay, GemMagic will contact you concerning shipping date. I state this because GemMagic attends trade shows and we are subject to set-up, break-down, and driving times for the shows. Also, if you have ordered a ring and it needs to be resized, this may delay shipping. GemMagic will contact you concerning the exact shipping date. I am concerned about security. Is your site secure?
GemMagic takes security very seriously. Therefore, GemMagic utilizes an Extended SSL Certificate, or EVSSL certificate ("green bar") provided by GeoTrust and receives quarterly scans to ensure PCI-DSS compliance. GemMagic's site was last scanned on December 5, 2011, by ControlScan and found to be PCI-DSS compliant ("hacker safe").
What is PCI-DSS?
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a set of requirements designed to ensure that ALL companies that process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment. Essentially any merchant that has a Merchant ID (MID).
Please note that GemMagic does not store any credit card information.
I want to order from your website, but how do I know if the items I want are in stock?
